Emily Lacsamana grew up in Austin, Texas, and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1999. It was at Texas A&M that she discovered her desire for working with children and her love of occupational therapy. She moved to Dallas in 2001 where she completed a Master’s Degree Program in Occupational Therapy at Texas Woman’s University.
She has worked for Children’s Medical Center of Dallas for over twenty years, treating children in both inpatient acute care and the outpatient clinic. She has been providing private pediatric occupational therapy services to clients for twelve years.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her two girls, teaching Sunday School at her church, and running.
